The classic Dorothy costume may be attributed to the Judy Garland portrayal in the 1939 film, but the look was first created by WW Denslow who illustrated the first book published way back in 1900. This Child Dorothy costume is based on that classic look. It consists of an all-in-one white blouse top and blue gingham dress with attached lace white petticoat. The apron style front of the dress, the skirt and the blouse trim all feature blue gingham. The look is completed with two light blue hair bows.
