The hard, cold and depressing parts of the Winter months are behind us now and we can look forward as Spring and the Summer months start to show their first signs. Before you know it the tulips and the daffodils will be taking over a roundabout near you and little lambs will be running around chasing their siblings in the fields.

More importantly for most of you, the supermarket shelves will be jam packed with chocolate eggs as Easter Sunday approaches. This year Easter Sunday is on the 8th of April so you can be sure the shelves will start filling up shortly.

Easter is another great opportunity to dress up in fantastic fancy dress costumes. Kids will love to see the Easter Bunny hopping around their garden and a great Easter fancy dress costume will make it an Easter to remember for everyone...

The Six Nations Championship takes place each year and involves the rugby sides from England, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It is a simple championship where each side plays every other team once and the home field advantage swaps from one year to the next. England are currently champions, taking the crown from the French after they won all of their games in 2010. When a team wins all of the matches this victory is called a Grand Slam.

This coming weekend (11th + 12th Feb 2012) sees Italy v England, France v Ireland and Wales v Scotland. Rugby fans often cover themselves in their nations flag to show their support and rugby fancy dress is often seen amongst the crowds as people try to stand out.
